Greetings music lovers! Since 1973, County Sales has been proud to make its home in Floyd along the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Our state’s iconic “Virginia is for Lovers” slogan turned 50 this year and we’ve decided to celebrate the occasion by curating a list of 50 of our favorite recordings by Virginia-based artists. Most of these recordings were made in the last half-century, but we have included a few honorary selections due to their lasting influence in the world of Old-Time, Bluegrass and Country music. We love Virginia and so do all of the musicians in this collection. Virginia is for MUSIC lovers!
